CBC concentrates on distinctive premium and above-premium brands that provide higher-than-average margins. Most of CBC's sales are in U.S. markets; however, the Company is committed to building profitable sales in international markets. Sales of malt beverages totaled 21.2 million barrels in 1998, 20.6 million barrels in 1997 and 20.0 million barrels in 1996.

In 1998, Coors Brewing Company was owned by Adolph Coors Company.
